Knit + Stitch is at Harrogate Convention Centre 19 to 22 November 2026. Advance adult tickets £19.95 plus a £4.25 order fee until 8 November; £28 on the door.

Knit + Stitch, the show most people still call the Knitting and Stitching Show, is at Harrogate Convention Centre from Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 November 2026. It opens at 10am every day, closes at 5.30pm Thursday to Saturday and at 4pm on Sunday (Knit + Stitch: opening hours).

The quick answer

  • Dates: Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 November 2026.
  • Venue: Harrogate Convention Centre, Kings Road, HG1 5LA.
  • Hours: 10am to 5.30pm Thursday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm Sunday.
  • Cheapest adult day ticket: £19.95 plus a £4.25 order fee, until Sunday 8 November. £28 on the door.
  • Under-5s go free. Anyone aged 5 to 18 needs a child ticket.
  • Thursday and Friday are the busiest days, and tickets for them cannot be swapped.

The name changed, the show did not. The organisers, Immediate Live, shortened it to Knit + Stitch as part of a rebrand after more than 30 years, and say it still covers knitting, crochet, dressmaking, quilting and embroidery, with over 150 exhibitors (Knit + Stitch: FAQs).

Tickets and prices

There are three price stages. The organisers quote advance prices with the fee added, so the figures below split the two. The £4.25 transaction fee is per order, not per ticket: book a group of friends in one order and you pay it once (Knit + Stitch: ticket prices).

Knit + Stitch Harrogate 2026, one-day ticket prices before the £4.25 order fee
TicketGeneral release (to 8 Nov)Final releaseOn the door

Concession£17.95£20.50£26
Child, 18 and under£8.50£9.50£9.50

Door prices carry no transaction fee. Concessions are for students, disabled visitors and anyone aged 65 or over.

Worth knowing before you buy:

  • Book before Sunday 8 November for general release prices. One line on the organisers’ page says general release runs to Monday 9 November, but the headline date, repeated twice, is Sunday 8 November. Treat the Sunday as the deadline.
  • Two-day tickets are £34 plus the fee, for adults and concessions, and are only sold during general release.
  • Children: a lone adult bringing one child in general release pays £19.95, £8.50 and one £4.25 fee, so £32.70. On the door the same pair pays £37.50, with no fee.
  • A disabled visitor who needs a carer gets one carer ticket free. Add it when booking or collect it at the box office; the organisers ask for proof such as a PIP or DLA letter, a Blue Badge or an Access Card.
  • Tickets are not refundable. General admission tickets can be used on a different day, except Thursday and Friday, which are too busy to take tickets bought for other days. If other days sell out, swaps stop too.
  • VIP packages start at £46 plus the fee (Bronze) and £69 plus the fee (Silver, with lunch and a glass of Prosecco). Both give priority entry and the VIP lounge from 9.30am, though VIPs cannot go on the show floor before 10am.
  • Groups of 10 or more pay £14 an adult and £7.50 a child, plus fees, and the group leader goes free.

If you have lost your e-ticket, the box office will let you in on your booking reference.

What is on

The organisers list textile art galleries, including work by Alice Fox, Ali Pickard, Divya Sharma, Jahnavi Inniss and Tyreis Holder, the Embroiderers’ Guild and a Winning Quilts gallery; a Knit Lounge; a Live Stage; a Knit vs Stitch catwalk; a Yarn Village; and a Graduate Showcase of textile students from UK degree courses, chosen by the Embroiderers’ Guild. The demonstrations, talks and catwalks are included in the ticket. Workshops are booked and paid for separately (Knit + Stitch Harrogate).

Parking and getting there

The convention centre has its own underground car park, with around 158 spaces, entered from Springfield Avenue. The organisers warn it gets very busy and suggest the town centre car parks instead: the Jubilee (sat nav HG1 1DJ) and Victoria (HG1 5LQ) multi-storeys have about 1,200 spaces between them, a few minutes’ walk away. The Jubilee is the closer of the two for the Royal Hall and HCC Yorkshire, entrances 4 and 5 (FAQs).

For blue badge holders the organisers say there are 150 disabled parking spaces at the centre, first come first served, and a drop-off point. Charges and opening hours for every car park in town are in our guide to parking in Harrogate.

One trap if you check the organisers’ site for directions: when we looked on 29 September, the “Getting Here” page in the Harrogate section showed the directions for the Northern Ireland show, at the Eikon Centre in Lisburn. Use the FAQs page for Harrogate instead. Harrogate station is in the town centre; our Harrogate roadworks and travel page has any engineering works on the line and closures on the roads in.

On the day

  • The show is cashless for merchandise and workshops: debit card, credit card or contactless. Some exhibitors still take cash.
  • Cloakrooms are at the entrance to Hall M and in the Royal Hall, at £3 an item; card preferred, cash accepted.
  • You can leave and come back. Ask staff for a free re-entry stamp.
  • Access: the show uses six halls, most on one level, with a wheelchair lift to Hall Q. There are no wheelchairs for hire at the show; the organisers point to Shopmobility Harrogate (01423 556778) and Able to Enable (01423 880882).
  • Assistance dogs are welcome.
  • Children are welcome, but there is no creche.
